Die Installation zeigt eine Auswahl von Sternenbildern, welche zur Zeit Christi Geburt aus astronomischer Sicht über Bethlehem sichtbar waren.
Sterne sind Hoffnungsträger, dies haben alle Menschen unabhängig ihrer Religion oder Kultur gemeinsam. Egal wo wir uns auf dem Erdball befinden, der Nachthimmel  scheint in seinem Urtypus gleich.
Als Installationsmedium dienen einzelne Solarleuchten. Solarenergie nützt die Kraft der Sonne, speichert sie und gibt sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder frei. Dies unterstützt mein Konzept, nicht ich als Künstler bestimme den Zeitpunkt des Leuchtens, die Installation korrespondiert mit der Umwelt und zeigt sich dadurch nicht statisch sondern jede Nacht wieder anders. Jede Leuchtquelle ist autonom und folgt seinem eigenen Rhythmus, mal zerbrechlich flackernd, vielleicht auch ganz dunkel oder hell leuchtend.

The installation depicts a selection of constellations that were visible from an astronomical perspective over Bethlehem at the time of the birth of Christ.

Stars are rays of hope; that is something that unites all individuals irrespective of their religion or culture. Regardless of where on the globe we find ourselves, the original night sky appears the same to us.

Individual solar lights serve as the installation medium. Solar energy utilises the power of the sun, stores it and releases it again at a later point in time. This supports my concept that it is not I as the artist who determines the timing of the lights; the installation corresponds with the environment and is therefore not a static representation but instead differs every night. Each light source is autonomous and follows its own rhythm, sometimes flickering weakly, perhaps totally dark or shining brightly.
